Our Company, IMEX Lucania s.r.l. was born out of the desire to let the World discover the beauty and authenticity of “Lucania”. Rich in natural resources and steeped in local history and traditions, one has only to sit around the family table to savour the flavours of home produced wine, Olive-oil and freshly baked bread.
As eating well is an art, we have selected an appealing range of our traditional products: Wines, Liqueurs, Salami, Pasta, Olive Oil, Tomato Sauces, Vegetables preserved in olive-oil, Biscuits, Cheeses and more.

IMEX Lucania s.r.l. is situated in the small but picturesque village of Armento, 710 mt above sea level. Armento is said to heve taken its name from the fact that it was once a Roman Armoury, although it was built 600 years B.C.E. Today it is a place where one can relax, surrounded by nature and sample a slice of Italian pastoral life. The Armentesi live by an old proverb: “An egg today is better than a chicken tomorrow”.
